ST 620 roars through Ocean Park, along with ST 202 and at least one other locomotive, westbound freight in tow. Note the "blower bulge" behind the cab, as well as the "torpedo tube" air reservoirs mounted on the roof. Rebuilt by Santa Fe in San Bernardino, California. I always loved these locomotives. That's me in red, waving to the engineer. Date is approximate. |
